Historic buildings, districts and communities of all sizes are the physical imprint of those who came before us. They represent the dreams and aspirations of earlier generations. Frazier Associates’ team of historic architects, planners and architectural historians firmly believes that it is a civic responsibility to preserve the best of each community’s past for the benefit of future generations.

We can aid a community or individual in the designation of their district or property to the National Register of Historic Places.  We also provide assistance to property owners in qualifying for state and federal historic rehabilitation tax credits, which can be used to help finance eligible costs. Highly detailed assessments of individual properties are available for important historic buildings through historic structure reports.

For historic preservation programs at the community level, we work with planning agencies to evaluate local preservation programs and to strengthen those efforts. A large part of that work relates to creating design guidelines for historic districts as well as providing training for design review boards.
