Why Use An Architect?
Residential Architecture Header

Working with a homeowner to fulfill dreams and to create new living spaces takes a special set of skills.  Our commitment is to be a good listener, a creative designer, and a reliable partner in all aspects of a residential design project - whether for a new custom house, an addition, or a renovation.

The process begins when the owner completes a detailed questionnaire designed to ensure that we fully and completely understand all aspects of the client’s wishes, goals and budgetary concerns.  From this information, Frazier Associates creates a series of schematic designs including floor plans that show the sizes and location of all rooms on each floor and elevation drawings that show the four sides of the home.

After the owner selects a final schematic design, we work together to select all of the fixtures and finishes for the interior spaces.   The next phase is to create detailed construction drawings and specifications for the builder.  We also can assist the owner in the selection of the contractor, bidding, and construction administration.  The successful project is one in which we meet all the owner’s expectations and in which the owner’s vision is achieved.  Read more about the benefits of using an architect on your next residential project.
