Beyond the Building Envelope

Recording Historic Structures often involves surveying a building's envelope beyond the exterior elevation. Frazier Associates uses a combination of photogrammetry, laser technology, and conventional hands-on assessment to create interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, building profiles, "envelope plans", as well as conventional floor plans.

Hard to Access Elevations

This is the most common application of digital photogrammetry in architectural work. This approach provides the most efficient way to capture and represent the existing conditions of a building's hard-to-access exterior surfaces.

Hybrid Drawings

Frazier Associates has pioneered the integration of rectified, scalable photographs with measured line drawings in CAD as a particularly powerful way to capture and represent existing conditions.

Documenting Historic Surfaces
